Das Ibiza Rocks Hotel ist das erste Konzept-Hotel der Insel, in dem Fashion, Musik und Wohnen zusammengeführt werden. Die Idee dazu hatten die
Manumisson-Macher Andy McKay und Dawn Hindle, die sich durch ihre ausgefallenen Ideen ohnehin schon einen Namen auf der Insel gemacht hatten. Mit dem Festival Ibiza Rocks holten die beiden kreativen Köpfe in 2005 eine Reihe Live-Bands auf die Insel, um auch den Anhängern nicht-elektronischer
Musik ein Highlight zu bescheren. Besonders bei den Einheimischen kam die Idee so gut an, dass sich das Festival nun fest auf der Insel etabliert hat. Das
zugehörige Ibiza Rocks Hotel öffnete am 31. Mai 2008 erstmalig seine Pforten. Jeden Abend spielen hier klasse Bands, wie bspw. Fratellis oder We Are
Scientists, denen man entweder gemütlich vom eigenen Balkon mit Blick auf die Bühne oder bei einem leckern Bierchen in den urban gehaltenen Bars
zuhören kann. Und deswegen gilt: Auch, wenn man nicht selbst in eines der Ibiza Rocks-Zimmer eingecheckt hat, ist ein Besuch absolut lohnenswert!
The Ibiza Rocks Hotel is the island's first location to combine fashion, music and accommodation. The concept stemmed from Manumission-makers Andy
McKay and Dawn Hindle - and they are renowned on the island for making extraordinary ideas reality. As a highlight for fans of non-electronic music,
the creative duo already brought a string of live bands to the island for their 'Ibiza Rocks' festival in 2005. This idea really caught on, particularly among
the locals, so the festival has now become a regular event. The Ibiza Rocks Hotel first opened its doors on 31st May 2008. Great bands play here every
night - the Fratellis, for example, or We Are Scientists and guests can either follow the live action from their private balcony or while downing a beer in
one of the hotel's urban-style bars. Anyone not booked in for the night can do only the latter, of course, but that alone makes the hotel well worth a visit.
