AS DALIAS: The Venue
Las Dalias was built in 1954 and in the beginning, was comprised of a roadside bar and a Dancehall. At the end of the 60s, with the arrival of tourism on the island, a 'celler-restaurant' was added, and the garden was laid out to celebrate barbecues and shows.
With the years, the outdoor areas have been enlarged to accommodate the growing market. Nowadays, the parts that comprise Las Dalias are the following:
The Bar - The original roadside Bar that serves tapas, daily menus & drinks besides holding a varying art exhibition by local painters. The opening hours are from 7:00 to 00:00.
The Hall - Concert hall with a capacity of around 450 pax with a large stage, dressing rooms, professional lighting for live acts, P.A. and equipment for DJs.
The Garden - Charming outdoors area with vegetation, a moveable stage, and an area for the restaurant in its summer format. Approximate capacity for 600.
Restaurant - A celler with beautiful wooden ceilings with many ancient artefacts on display. Capacity for some 125 pax.
The 'Park' - Back area next to the entrance that contains the Tea-tent, the 'Soul Bar', the 'Hut' and a space that has occasionally been used for large-format concerts. The space has an approximate capacity for 2000 pax.
The Soul Bar - Quaint multi-coloured kiosk that opens only on the Saturday Market days of summer (May to October).
The Tea-tent - An authentic Moroccan tent that houses our teashop and sells different kinds of Tea & Arabian Cookies.
The Hut - A double unit with one half dedicated to the sale of pizzas, pastries, Ice Slushees as well as 'Ibizan Herbs' (a local liqueur) and local crafts. The other half sells clothing and other merchandising for Las Dalias.
