Der Playa Figueretes wird auch häufig Ibiza-Playa genannt, weil er der Stadtstrand von Ibiza-Stadt ist. Direkt vor der schönen Promenade zieht sich ein recht schmaler Strandstreifen entlang, der in den letzten Jahren durch Sandaufschüttung erheblich vergrößert wurde. Große Palmen schmücken die Bucht, die sorgfältig gepflegt wird. Die Wasserqualität ist in Ordnung. Liegen und Sonnenschirme sind vorhanden, Duschen und Toiletten leider nicht. An der Promenade findet ihr zahlreiche Restaurants, Bars und Geschäfte. Tipp: Versucht, falls möglich, die Bucht zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Parkplatzsituation an dieser Stelle ist nicht gerade entspannt ganz im Gegensatz zum Strandleben selbst.
Playa Figueretes is also widely known as Ibiza Beach as it's the city beach of Ibiza City: an exceedingly narrow strip of sand that skirts the lovely promenade, which was considerably extended in recent years by additional sand-banks. Large palm trees adorn this beautifully manicured bay. The quality of the water is adequate. Loungers and parasols are available yet not, unfortunately, any toilets or showers. There are however, numerous restaurants, bars and shops on the promenade. A tip: try if possible to reach the bay on foot. In contrast to the beach life here, finding a place to park is not at all relaxing.
