10 weird things girls do when they’re alone

C’mon, we know that each and everyone of you does number 9.

What do girls do when they’re alone? Text their best friends? Paint their nails? Way off the mark! Thanks to a funny Buzzfeed-video, we finally know what women do as soon as they feel unobserved.

1. Touch their boobs: Girls love touching their boobs. Why? Because they feel so good.

2. Take thousands of selfies: Whenever girls upload a new profile picture on Facebook or send around selfies, it’s clearly not a randomly taken photo. Girls take thousands of photos when no one is watching.

3. “Mirror mirror on the wall...”: Spots, wrinkles and facial hair are no gos for girls. This is why they grab their tweezers and a mirror to observe their faces meticulously whenever they’re alone.

4. Check themselves out: Why do girls (secretly) stop in front of every reflective object to check themselves out? Well, they obviously need to measure their market value and find out how to look best in front of their crush.

5. Jump around their flats singing and dancing: There’s a little bit of Beyoncé or Taylor Swift in all of us. As soon as there is a catchy song on the radio, girls grab their invisible microphones and turn their flats into concert halls – without audience of course.

6. Eat unhealthily: There’s two sides to every woman. Girls might order salad and water when they go to a restaurant, but their kitchens are full of sweet surprises.

7. Try out new tutorials on YouTube – and fail: Whenever they go out, girls all look dressed to the nines. Surprisingly, it is YouTube tutorials that help ugly ducklings turn into beautiful swans. However, no matter how easy the makeover looks on the internet– it often ends in a disaster (and tears...).

8. Watch all the episodes of their favourite series in a row: If there’s anything that could stop a woman from answering phone calls, it’s watching all the episodes of her favourite series in a row – though she will probably pretend she spent her day having an amazing time with her friends.

9. Walk around in their shabby tracksuit bottoms: No matter how much they love their high heels or skinny jeans, there’s one thing girls love even more: wearing their shabby tracksuit bottoms at home - and only at home-. When they play sports, they want to look effortlessly pretty again.

10. Talk to themselves or their pets: True to the motto “Of course I talk to myself. Sometimes, I need expert advice”, women love private speech; and if they end up looking for someone else who actually listens to them, cats and dogs will do, too.
