Nach dem ganzen Ärger um die neuen Afterhour-Gesetze und Zwangsschließungen im letzten Jahr, haben alle langjährigen Ibiza-Anhänger in diesem Jahr auf Besserung gehofft. Zwar durften die Clubs unter den neuen Afterhour-Gesetzen nun wieder öffnen, aber ein kleines Manko gab es dann dennoch auf der weißen Insel: Das DC10 musste seine Strafe aus dem vergangenen Jahr nachholen und seine Pforten noch einmal für 57 Tage schließen. Und das, wo doch diesjährig ein rundes Jubiläum ansteht:
Circoloco feiert nämlich sein Zehnjähriges!

Zu diesem besonderen Anlass gibt es natürlich ordentlich was für und auf die Ohren. Und da das DC10 für seine Extravaganz so berühmt ist, gibt es für den ersten zweistelligen Geburtstag eine quasi dreistellige Compilation – na gut, aber zumindest eine Compilation, die aus drei Teilen besteht. Und der Clou: Jeder Part birgt nochmals zwei Silberlinge in sich. Drei mal hoch: hoch, hoch, hoch!

Fehlen dürfen natürlich nicht Circoloco-Queen Tania Vulcano und Resident-Kollege Sossa, die für das musikalische Feuerwerk auf Teil eins der Compilation verantwortlich sind. Den zweiten Teil mixen das rumänische Dreier-Gespann Raresh, Pedro und Rhadoo. An die dritte Doppel-CD durften dann Moonharbour-Labelhead Matthias Tanzmann und Thomas Melchior Hand anlegen.

Keine Frage: Der Sommer gehört Ibiza. Kein anderer Ort zieht jedes Jahr auf solch magische Weise Liebhaber elektronischer Musik aus aller Welt an wie die Balearen-Insel. Zwischen Juni und Oktober avanciert das DC10 jedem Montag zu einem hedonistischen Kleinod. Denn seit 1998 veranstalten die Italiener Antonio und Andrea Pelino in dem renommierten Club die legendäre Party-Reihe Circoloco.
