The Love Parade starts this year in a new city and with a new concept. For the first time political leaders, the business and music community and organisers will be working hand-in-hand to create an event of mega proportions. The theme „Love is everywhere“ is going to bring thousands of people into the Ruhr region and to Essen, which is the landlord of the Parade this year. The Ruhr metropolitan area, the largest conurbation in Europe, can be reached quickly and easily and will be gaining an event that is a veritable feast of superlatives. The Love Parade remains the greatest party in the world.

The first Love weekend in the Ruhr area starts on August 23^rd and the whole club scene is involved, so there is a wide range of events. The highlight of the weekend is the Love Parade on Saturday. From 2 pm on is Essen the city of love and beats. About 26 Floats are going to present you a multifaceted mixture of electronic dance music. The Berliner Platz is the place of the final announcement, from 5 pm on is a fantastic line up on stage: Moby, Westbam and Chris Liebing are just a few of the famous DJs on the turntables. The organizing team wants to relay on the new ways introduced in 2006, so in addition you will find a larger section of live acts as Fairmont and Booka Shade. After so much love there will be wide range of after Parties in Essen and all over the Ruhr area. So all in all a fantastic weekend, full of events is waiting for you!
