Meganite
Meganite was launched at Miami Winter Music Conference in March 2002 with a sell out party headlined by Mauro Picotto and Marco Carola. Since then Meganite has organised numerous events reaching thousands of fans across the globe.
Summer 2004 saw Meganite debut in the party island of Ibiza with a weekly residency at the worlds biggest club, Privilege. Each Wednesday for the 10 week season at Privilege, Meganite showcased some Ibiza newcomers such as Misstress Barbara, Henrik B and Meganite resident Chris Liebing, as well as sets from Ibiza stars such as Mauro Picotto.
The Meganite crew enlisted the help of some of the best VJs in Europe and the décor was created uniquely to the night, creating a Theatre of Sound that encapsulated the thousands of clubbers who attended the event.
Following the success of the first season, Meganite returned to Privilege in 2005 with an even bigger lineup featuring new Meganite Ibiza guest Adam Beyer. The unforgettable season confirmed Meganite as one of the top events on the island, with weekly attendances reaching over 5000.
The following season was brighter than ever. Meganite returned to the Superclub Privilege for the third year in a row. "Meganite to the power of 3" with Mauro Picotto and new residents Marco Carola and Misstress Barbara, brought a positive energy with fifteen sessions beginning on 7th June and continuing each Wednesday thereafter. Mauros winner idea was to move the clubs sound system from the ceiling down to floor level, in order to create a better aural experience for punters.
2006 was the best season for Meganite in Ibiza, the club was open to maximum capacity from the beginning of July untill the closing party in September. The closing was the best and craziest night of the summer, and went on until mid-day.Meganite is dedicated to presenting quality music in beautiful surroundings. Each season has been celebrated with a CD plus a bonus DVD.
