The Monza promoters Ariel Giordano and Patrik Dechent stay con-sistent in following their successful music choice: "We believe in the combination of big names with new talent and local heroes." It is this eclectic approach that delivers our very own underground character, lived and represented by the 'Monza DJ family'.

 

In 2005, the line-up at Penelope was already done according to the eclectic combination of international stars and local heroes, leading to the creation of a refreshingly cosmopolitan and genuinely new sound in Ibiza, electronic house music.

 

Then in 2006, after using a rather 'conservative' line-up in 2005, Monza decided to include another very important part, the live-performance by producers of electronic house music covering different spectrums. Acts like Heidi (UK) in 2005, and Troy Pierce (USA) in 2006 hit the island like bombs, and ‘new’ artists performed next to new talents like Trentemøller and Samim, coming from the underground House-scene.

 

For 2007 Monza@Privilege aims to bring even more live acts after the good experiences in 2006. Furthermore it was possible to contract DJ-icons like Luciano, Magda and Barem and many many more.
